PeopleSoft Developer Position

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid Work Model)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking a qualified candidate who has completed a four-year degree in data processing, computer science, business, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in PeopleSoft PeopleTools development.
  • 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft development, specifically in Benefits Administration and Pension Administration.
  • 3+ years of proficiency in SQL with Oracle databases.
  • 3+ years of experience in writing SQR programs and PeopleSoft PeopleCode.
  • 3+ years of conducting detailed data analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Application Engine programming.
  • 1+ year of experience with PeopleSoft XML Publisher.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, and core HR functionalities. A solid background in financial systems, both internal and external, is essential.

Key competencies include:

  • Extensive experience with SQL, SQR programming, PeopleCode, and Application Engine.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft XML Publisher reporting.
  • Experience in integrating web services between PeopleSoft and third-party applications is advantageous.
  • Ability to create flow diagrams to visually represent processes.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and program modifications.
  • Advanced logical processing skills for designing programs and systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate design review meetings and document outcomes effectively.
  • Capacity to collaborate and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with PeopleSoft integration involving both internal and external applications using web services is preferred.
