Project Financial Coordinator

Core Responsibilities:
Engages in a range of project financial activities, including data entry, review, processing, auditing, and reporting. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the system and escalates issues to the Supervisor for further assistance and evaluation. Additionally, provides support to employees, office personnel, and management regarding subject matter-related inquiries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, executes various clerical and routine accounting functions, including: Assisting with the processing of weekly timesheets. Aiding in the entry of miscellaneous charges, transfers, and drill rig usages. Supporting the Accounts Receivable department with cash entry as necessary, including ACH entries, checks, and credit card transactions. Conducting client maintenance, client merges, and project closures. Approving and tracking invoices for agency workers in Coupa. Assisting employees who reach out to the support helpdesk. Adhering to safety protocols, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participating in pre-task planning and reporting any safety concerns to management. Ensuring quality standards are maintained across all projects. This role has the potential to evolve into a coordinator position with additional responsibilities. Under general supervision, accountable for all aspects of weekly project accounting processing, including data entry, running processes, and auditing reports. Collaborating with the payroll department to investigate timesheet discrepancies and adjustments. Responsible for communicating with employees and supervisors regarding missing or unsubmitted timesheets. Working with IT and the direct supervisor to resolve processing issues and report problems. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Basic understanding of project accounting. Detail-oriented with data entry. Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
