Customer Operations Specialist

About the Role

The Customer Operations team at ZT Systems is responsible for coordinating efforts among internal groups to ensure alignment with customer needs and delivery of high-quality solutions. This role requires strong operational and order management skills, exceptional customer communication abilities, advanced data analysis techniques, and a creative problem-solving approach to identify opportunities for improvement and address day-to-day challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage materials planning and execution to meet program schedules and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure component supply plans contribute to credible master production schedules by identifying and resolving supply/demand imbalances.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand demand outlook and manage delivery commitment expectations.
  • Support rapidly changing customer requirements in a positive and flexible manner.
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to drive material allocations in support of customer project schedules.
  • Work with technical program managers and system engineers to ensure accurate bills of material and demand accuracy.
  • Measure business performance and drive corrective actions to ensure ZT Systems meets or exceeds customer service requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business, or engineering from an accredited college.
  • 0+ years of experience in supply chain analytics/project management.
  • Aptitude to proactively manage client relationships for strong business-to-business partnerships.
  • Materials planning knowledge and order fulfillment process knowledge.
  • Track record of utilizing innovative problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous data and use facilitation skills to keep projects moving forward.
  • Focus on high attention to detail, efficient time management, and consistent follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Tableau/Visio.
