Position: Field Sales Representative II

Location: Odessa, TX

In this capacity, the Field Sales Representative II is tasked with ethically and professionally representing Ulterra at the field level. The role involves driving revenue growth and expanding market share, nurturing relationships, gathering performance data, delivering top-tier customer service, and effectively communicating needs and opportunities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently engage with all rigs in the assigned territory with professionalism and dedication to customer service.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance as per management guidelines, including grooming standards.
  • Ensure 100% accountability of inventory through established documentation and procedures.
  • Achieve a minimum of 95% accuracy in bit record collection monthly, understanding its impact on other processes.
  • Complete and submit all required reports (daily, expense, vehicle inspections, revenue updates, etc.) by set deadlines, meeting quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle, ensuring timely routine maintenance.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, including customer relationships, rig counts, market share, and drilling variables.
  • Engage in open communication with Sales Supervisors, Applications Engineers, Account Representatives, and District Managers on a daily basis.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of local applications and products, providing coaching to others as necessary.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of field sales or relevant experience is required.
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driving record; proficiency in navigation using maps and GPS is essential.
  • Intermediate reading and writing skills are necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to navigate programs similar to social media applications.
  • Capable of following written and oral instructions and providing coaching to others.
  • Intermediate computer skills with a willingness to advance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to present and speak in public settings.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, sit, and walk; visual acuity with hand and finger dexterity.
  • Regularly required to communicate verbally and possess close and distant vision capabilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
