Position Overview:
The OEM Sales Executive is tasked with achieving designated objectives linked to the overall success of the hotel. This role involves effectively identifying and securing new business opportunities.

The OEM Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to meet the revenue and market share targets for one or more properties.

The sales focus may differ based on the specific property assigned to the individual (i.e., Leisure, Business Travel, Group, SMERF).

Management-level personnel are expected to dedicate the necessary time each workday to fulfill their job duties; for OEM roles, overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in Hotel Sales is preferred.

A valid driver's license for the applicable state is mandatory.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for negotiating, persuading, selling, and influencing other managerial staff, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.

Experience in professional selling techniques is desirable: initiating, probing, supporting, and closing.

Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, is required.

The ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial; strong organizational and presentation skills are necessary.

Core Duties:
Successfully achieve assigned sales and revenue targets as well as solicitation call objectives.


Proactively conduct solicitation calls, arrange sales tours, and entertain clients relevant to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as appropriate for the property.

Enhance existing relationships with assigned accounts pertinent to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable for the property.

Monitor and assess trends within your market segment.

Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Comply with established regulations, company standards, sales metrics, and sales protocols.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's operations and policies as well as those of relevant departments.

Maintain a strong presence in the local community and industry organizations as applicable.

May assist in the implementation and/or participation in special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.

Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and any other functions as required by management.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
