Position Overview

This is a full-time and permanent role with Converge Technology Solutions. The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships. This role encompasses promoting a diverse range of offerings including hardware, software, cloud solutions, professional services, advisory services, and managed services. The successful candidate will also engage in essential sales administrative tasks, utilizing tools such as Salesforce, managing forecasts, deal registrations, presentations, proposals, and order submissions. We are looking for a candidate who is well-connected within their market and values the professional network they have built.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement sales strategies by assessing and qualifying customer requirements and presenting suitable solutions.
  • Drive sales growth and enhance market presence through marketing initiatives, in-person meetings, and vendor partnerships.
  • Comprehend customer challenges, needs, and purchasing behaviors to foster strong relationships that promote sales and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure accurate quotes and efficient processing of order requests.
  • Work alongside the engineering team to properly scope projects, ensuring optimal solutions are proposed.
  • Maintain relationships with various levels of customer contacts, particularly focusing on executive-level interactions within IT and business operations.
  • Engage in proposal development and prepare relevant sales documentation for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training to enhance performance, refine sales skills, stay updated on emerging technologies, and maintain necessary manufacturer sales certifications.
  • Contribute to company initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of the sales organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant CRM software.

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in technology sales with a solid grasp of business and operational requirements.
  • Experience in selling technology vendor products such as Dell, IBM, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, Nvidia, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Zscaler, Forcepoint, etc.
  • Experience in selling technology services including cloud support, managed services, storage solutions, network infrastructure, artificial intelligence, integrations, migrations, cybersecurity, and full-cycle implementations.
  • Proven track record of building executive-level relationships within the technology sector.

Work Environment

  • This position is based in the TOLA region.
  • Travel to client locations may be required.
