The Regional Sales Executive operates under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager - C&C.
Role Overview
- Act as a key liaison between the Marketing Team and Sales Management to pinpoint significant opportunities within the territory.
- Responsible for promoting the complete range of Bostik's Hardwood, Tile & Stone, Resilient & Surface Preparation Systems for the C&C Business Unit across the designated region.
- Oversee and expand Bostik accounts within the assigned territory.
- Implement and execute the strategic sales plan for Bostik.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to establish targets and objectives.
- Provide continuous insights on industry trends and product requirements.
- Formulate and execute strategies for account management, prepare timely sales reports, and address technical needs.
- Resolve account-related issues and facilitate technical solutions for clients.
- Utilize CRM tools for effective customer relationship management and daily territory oversight.
This role involves direct engagement with existing distribution accounts, as well as the identification and pursuit of potential new distribution channels. Additionally, it encompasses collaboration with contractors and independent retail customers to enhance business through distribution. Architectural sales presentations to groups are also a key responsibility of the Regional Sales Executive.
Accountability
- Responsible to the C&C Regional Sales Manager, Bostik Inc., and its stakeholders.
- Implement strategic initiatives devised by the Regional Sales Manager in alignment with overall Sales and Marketing objectives of the company.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, with exposure to intricate sales processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the flooring market and industry applications, including conducting product training on job sites.
- Ability to perform hands-on demonstrations with flooring products and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, which includes overnight stays, air travel, and extended driving (up to 4 hours at a time).
- Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work on a computer for extended periods during office hours.
- Familiarity with industry standards is preferred.
