Junior Consultant for Mission Readiness Strategy

Position Overview:

Are you driven by the desire to enhance organizational effectiveness and resilience? As a Junior Consultant for Mission Readiness Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in helping entities refine their operational frameworks. Your focus will be on strategic planning, process enhancement, performance evaluation, and analytical business management.

Your Role:

In this capacity, you will leverage your skills to assess the implications of modifications on business workflows and devise solutions that bolster organizational preparedness. Your insights will help illuminate both untapped opportunities and systemic obstacles, providing clients with a comprehensive perspective to transform their operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support emergency management and Homeland Security initiatives through analytical and strategic contributions.
  • Collaborate with small project teams to deliver impactful results.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite proficiently for documentation and presentations.
  • Apply knowledge of organizational strategy and performance metrics to enhance client operations.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis, culminating in high-quality reports and briefings.
  • Travel as required, up to 25%, to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Meet security clearance requirements as necessary.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) principles.
  • Experience in conducting organizational performance evaluations.
  • Understanding of federal and state governmental policies.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and ArcGIS.
  • Knowledge of emergency management fundamentals.
  • Strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional consulting skills, including problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • HSEEP Certification is a plus.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
