Your Role:
As a Junior Consultant specializing in Mission Readiness and Improvement, you will leverage your skills to evaluate how changes affect business operations and develop actionable solutions to ensure organizational preparedness. Your contributions will help transform systemic challenges into opportunities for growth, providing clients with a comprehensive perspective on their operational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support emergency management and Homeland Security initiatives through research and analysis.
- Collaborate with small project teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and presentations.
- Apply knowledge of organizational strategy and performance metrics.
- Conduct assessments and develop reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
- Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) principles.
- Experience in conducting organizational performance evaluations.
- Understanding of federal and state government policies.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of emergency management fundamentals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong consulting skills, including problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- HSEEP Certification is a plus.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
