Junior Consultant for Mission Readiness Strategy

As a strategy and improvement consultant, your skills will be instrumental in evaluating how changes affect business processes and crafting solutions to guarantee organizational preparedness. From untapped potential to systemic hurdles, your team will offer clients a comprehensive perspective of their organization, enabling them to transform their practices and be poised for mission operations.

Your Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting emergency management or Homeland Security initiatives, exercises, or projects.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously within small project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
  • Understanding of organizational strategy and performance concepts.
  • Capability to implement industry standards for organizational operations, including planning, training, assessment, or enhancement.
  • Competence in collaborating within a team environment, conducting research and analysis, and producing high-quality written reports and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) principles and methodologies for exercise design, development, execution, and evaluation.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and conducting organizational performance evaluations.
  • Knowledge of federal and state government relationships and policies.
  • Experience with SharePoint and ArcGIS.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts in homeland security and emergency management.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong consulting skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • HSEEP Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation:
Compensation at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 annually. This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this role and is part of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
