Position Overview
The role of the Commercial Fire Safety Sales Representative is vital for driving the growth and profitability of our organization. The selected individual will be responsible for promoting and selling service agreements, specifically Preventative Maintenance Agreements, for various commercial building systems, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspection services.

Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will oversee the complete sales cycle, which includes:
- Identifying opportunities
- Developing tailored solutions and value propositions
- Preparing designs and proposals
- Negotiating terms
- Closing sales successfully.

Sales Performance
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed financial targets, with a strong emphasis on adherence to established metrics. You will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of each phase of the sales process and showcase verifiable sales achievements, including:
- Client acquisition
- Organic growth
- Customer retention.

Relationship Management
As an expert in building and nurturing relationships, both internally and externally, you will embrace innovative tools and methodologies to enhance your effectiveness.

Personal Development

Proposal Management
Maintain an active backlog of proposals to support the achievement of your sales objectives. This includes:
- Developing financial justifications
- Preparing and presenting proposals
- Following up diligently to ensure successful sales closures.

Qualifications
Required:
- Exceptional presentation skills, capable of engaging both individuals and groups
- Experience in selling services and intangible products
- Familiarity with various sales methodologies and standards
- High self-motivation and a drive for success
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and close deals
- A personable and energetic demeanor with reliability and influence.

Preferred:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering
- Two to three years of progressive sales experience
- Knowledge of the fire and life safety industry
- Technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
