Key Responsibilities

Respond to service requests from the Service Resource Center, including a summary of equipment/system issues. Communicate with client representatives to identify equipment/system challenges. Conduct maintenance and repairs on fire sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. This encompasses various types including wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge systems, and fire pumps.

Operational Procedures

· Interpret and analyze blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.

· Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, combined with strong organizational abilities, a positive demeanor, and a capacity for rapid learning.

· Ability to work independently.

· Adhere to established troubleshooting protocols and consult technical manuals, parts manuals, and bulletins to accurately diagnose and repair systems.

Qualifications

Essential

· Proven experience in the fire sprinkler sector, specifically in servicing and repairing sprinkler and suppression systems.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile functionalities.

· Capability to service all water-based fire protection systems.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate client needs.

· Potential for overnight travel.

· Responsible for maintaining truck inventory to ensure prompt service to clients.

· Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures consistently.

· Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.

· Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

· Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.

· Comfortable working in various positions, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.

· Must understand and comply with all safety requirements set forth by the company and clients.

· Participation in an on-call rotation is required.

Desirable

· NICET certification is advantageous.

· Backflow certification is beneficial.

· Experience with fire pumps is a plus.
