What you will be responsible for

Handle service requests from the Service Resource Center, including a brief overview of equipment/system issues. Communicate with customer representatives to identify equipment/systems challenges. Execute maintenance and repairs on fire sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. This encompasses but is not limited to wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge systems, and fire pumps.

How you will achieve this

  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service, coupled with strong organizational abilities, a positive demeanor, and a quick learning aptitude.
  • Must possess the capability to work independently.
  • Adhere to established troubleshooting protocols and consult technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to diagnose and rectify equipment issues.
What we seek
Essential qualifications

  • Prior experience in the Fire Sprinkler sector, focusing on service and repair of Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer/phone applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile functionalities.
  • Capable of performing service work on all water-based fire protection systems.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
  • Potential for overnight travel.
  • Responsible for maintaining truck inventory to ensure prompt responses to customer demands.
  • Committed to adhering to, implementing, and following safety protocols and procedures consistently.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with company standards.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in unconventional and sometimes challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, and navigating ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
  • Must be able to comprehend, read, and adhere to all safety requirements set by the company and the customer.
  • This position requires participation in an on-call rotation.
Preferred qualifications

  • NICET certification is advantageous.
  • Backflow certification is beneficial.
  • Experience with fire pumps is a plus.
