Job Overview
Columbus College of Art and Design seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing various tasks within the day-to-day HR operations, including new hire onboarding, HRIS data management, employee relations, training, and employment-related activities.

About the Role
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a relevant field, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the HR field. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
- Assist the AVP for HR in educating and ensuring adherence to CCAD's general employment policies and procedures
- Perform general daily HR functions, including administrative tasks, timekeeping, and employment-related activities
- Oversee the student employment program, including onboarding and recruitment
- Analyze and provide data reporting on DEI statistics and other metrics tracking
- Assign compliance training for faculty and staff
- Manage employee records and files

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a relevant field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the HR field
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Knowledge of FMLA tracking, ADA law/regulation, and STD medical leave administration
