Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at NTN Driveshaft. As a Bilingual HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing HR-related tasks, providing support to employees, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and hire salaried employees, including job postings and background checks.
  • Translate for Spanish-speaking employees as needed, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as assisting potential employees with online applications.
  • Help enroll employees in Wellness Screenings and Health Risk Assessments.
  • Coordinate Blood Drives and prioritize HR assignments.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Maintain HR records, including applications, resumes, and applicant logs.
  • Provide medical interpretation for the onsite Health and Wellness Center.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 5 years of experience in hourly workforce recruitment, selection, and staffing, training, and generalist duties.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, employee relations, federal and state employment law.
  • Experience with HRIS Payroll Systems, such as ADP Workforce.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Mobility: Ability to move between departments or locations as needed.
  • Stamina: Capability to handle long hours during busy periods.
  • Constantly: talk or hear and use hands, fingers to handle or feel, or operate equipment or tools.
  • Frequently: stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, climb, pull, push or balance, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Visual Acuity: have close vision (1- 20 inches) and have the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing areas. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing policies and procedures.
