Generalist HR Professional

The Human Resources Generalist will assist the Associate Vice President for HR with day-to-day HR operations, including new hire onboarding, HRIS data management, employee relations, training, and employment-related activities. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a relevant field, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the HR field. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for this role.
About the Role
This role involves assisting the AVP for HR with various tasks, including executing daily HR operations, managing HRIS data, and developing employee training programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using software applications such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee communications
- Develop and implement training programs for employees
- Manage HRIS data, including employee information and benefits
- Conduct recruitment efforts for faculty and staff positions
- Provide support for student employment programs
