Overview
The Customer Relations Specialist is tasked with managing renewals, offering assistance to designated producers, and resolving daily client inquiries and challenges.

This role encompasses account management for Property & Casualty accounts and may extend to Specialty business support. A licensed professional is required for this position, with industry designations such as CISR or CIC being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Renewal Support:
    Assist in the renewal application processes for Specialty insurance products, including Jewelers Block and Pawn. This involves gathering and verifying information, coordinating quotes, and ensuring the timely delivery of policy documents.
  2. Producer Assistance:
    Support specific 1099 producers as required, aiding in their client service and sales efforts. Collaborate with producers to grasp client needs and preferences, providing assistance in fulfilling client expectations.
  3. Versatility:
    Depending on skills and training, provide support to multiple producers and various types of business. Opportunities for learning and growth within the insurance sector will be available.
  4. Documentation and Tracking:
    Ensure precise documentation and tracking of policies, endorsements, and client communications within agency management systems.
  5. Process Enhancement:
    Identify areas for process improvement and contribute ideas to boost operational efficiency and client service delivery.
  6. Confidentiality:
    Uphold strict confidentiality in managing client information and comply with all privacy regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in insurance or related fields is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance client service, support, or related roles preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Industry designations such as CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and/or CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with producers and other team members.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and office software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be able to obtain Property/Casualty Insurance Agent License within 2 months of employment.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
