Position Summary:

The Customer Care Policy Specialist I is responsible for providing outstanding service to policyholders and colleagues by ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. This role involves reviewing and processing Personal Lines transactions, including new applications and policy updates, while adhering to internal underwriting guidelines and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and assess Personal Lines policy submissions through various communication channels.
  2. Ensure completeness and accuracy of policyholder information for processing.
  3. Cross-check manual entries against source documents to minimize errors.
  4. Update policyholder data based on information received from multiple sources.
  5. Provide support and service to potential and existing policyholders through various communication methods.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, and services.
  7. Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  8. Foster a positive work environment and engage in continuous learning.
  9. Adhere to scheduled work hours with reliable attendance.
  10. Embody and promote our core values in daily operations.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A background in higher education is preferred, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience or training. Knowledge of the insurance and jewelry industries is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required. Familiarity with the Guidewire product suite is a plus. Ability to navigate multiple software applications effectively is essential.
