POSITION SUMMARY
This role is designed to deliver operational assistance to the Williston campus by acting as a Site Coordinator.

The primary function is to serve as a resource for all campus stakeholders, ensuring that facilities are utilized, maintained, and secured appropriately.

This position encompasses a multifaceted role within both Public Safety and Campus Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and manage Public Safety personnel.
  • Oversee on-site campus operations staff.
  • Guide the campus community in adhering to safe operational practices.
  • Act as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors regarding operational matters.
  • Serve as the initial contact for all safety, security, and access control inquiries.
  • Provide campus partners with general information and direct them to necessary resources.
  • Manage operational activities such as identification, access control, physical mail, and support for conferences and events.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for various operational needs.
  • Deliver on-site security; examples of such duties include:
  • Conducting regular patrols.
  • Ensuring spaces are secured when not in use and accessible when required.
  • Monitoring parking compliance.
  • Addressing concerns.
  • Documenting incidents.

  • Provide on-site maintenance; examples of such duties include:
  • Managing snow removal and landscaping contracts.
  • Applying salt to icy walkways.
  • Changing light bulbs.
  • Painting.

  • Oversee cleaning operations.
  • Order supplies, including office materials.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

SUPERVISION
Direct supervision is provided by the Associate Director of Public Safety for Randolph and Williston, as well as the Assistant Director of Campus Operations.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES
Oversee and manage Public Safety officers and on-site campus operations staff. May supervise work-study student staff as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of two years of experience managing a complex operation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment or a similar combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, along with three to four years of relevant clerical and administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills.

  • General operations of facilities.
  • Basic computer programs and systems.

Skills:
  • Ability to balance multiple needs and prioritize tasks effectively.

Abilities:
  • Communicate clearly with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in using tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a diverse community and promote inclusive perspectives and cultures.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Location: Williston campus. Schedule: Monday to Friday, first shift. Occasional night and weekend shifts may be required based on campus needs.
