ROLE OVERVIEW
This role is designed to deliver operational assistance to the Williston campus by acting as a Site Coordinator.

The primary responsibility is to serve as a resource for all campus stakeholders, ensuring that facilities are utilized effectively, maintained appropriately, and secured diligently.

This position encompasses a multifaceted role within both Public Safety and Campus Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and manage Public Safety personnel.
  • Oversee on-site campus operations staff.
  • Guide the campus community in adhering to safe operational practices.
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
  • Serve as the initial contact for all safety, security, and access control matters.
  • Provide campus partners with essential information and direct them to necessary resources.
  • Oversee operational tasks such as identification, access control, physical mail handling, and support for conferences and events.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for various operational needs.
  • Deliver on-site security services, including:
  • Conducting regular patrols.
  • Ensuring spaces are secured when not in use and accessible when required.
  • Monitoring parking compliance.
  • Addressing concerns and documenting incidents.

  • Provide on-site maintenance, including:
  • Managing contracts for snow removal and landscaping.
  • Salting icy walkways.
  • Changing light bulbs and performing painting tasks.

  • Oversee cleaning operations.
  • Order necessary supplies, including office materials.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION
Direct supervision is provided by the Associate Director of Public Safety for Randolph and Williston, along with the Assistant Director of Campus Operations.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES
Oversee and manage Public Safety officers and on-site campus operations staff. May supervise work-study student staff as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of two years of experience managing a complex operation in a dynamic environment or a comparable combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge and skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, along with three to four years of relevant clerical and administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge and skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position based at the Williston campus. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, first shift, with occasional night and weekend shifts as needed.
