Job Summary

This position provides administrative support to the Senior Associate Director for Field Operations and Administration and supports the functions of Extension's district office coordinators. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative, fiscal, and business functions, including addressing routine and nonroutine fiscal issues, preparing and processing purchasing, accounting, and travel forms, and maintaining accurate and timely expense reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Associate Director for Field Operations and Administration
  • Support the functions of Extension's district office coordinators
  • Perform administrative, fiscal, and business functions, including addressing routine and nonroutine fiscal issues
  • Prepare and process purchasing, accounting, and travel forms
  • Maintain accurate and timely expense reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent level of training and experience
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating the daily operations of an office with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing time effectively for prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Experience with financial duties, such as reviewing and processing procurement transactions, monthly reconciliations, and accounts receivable and payable transactions
