
Hospice Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our 12-bed Hospice House in Newton. As a member of our dedicated staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required
- One to three years clinical experience required; hospice or home health care experience preferred
