Key Responsibilities:

As an Inventory Control Specialist, your primary role will be to oversee the management of all new goods inventory and compile data to assess stock levels and the need for replenishment.

  • Receive, unload, and appropriately store incoming inventory items
  • Monitor and document inventory levels, including any shortages or damages on incoming goods
  • Track orders and accurately process incoming merchandise orders to ensure timely fulfillment of store needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse
  • Travel to various store locations to assist with merchandising as required
  • Help report inventory levels for individual product SKUs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with effective oral and written communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Working Conditions:

  • Must wear appropriate safety footwear upon starting employment
  • Able to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and dust
  • Must be able to operate a van or box truck for commuting between locations
  • Must meet all physical requirements necessary to perform job duties, including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand, and/or walk for extended periods, as well as the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs with or without accommodation
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends
