Position Summary:

This role is pivotal in assisting the sales team by managing all inventory-related tasks for designated medical device accounts.

Scope of Role Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Field Locations, Warehouse Operations, Sales Leaders, and other stakeholders in assigned areas.
  • Utilizing inventory management systems for the distribution of products/services to sales personnel and clients.
  • Ensuring accuracy in inventory counts (both digital and physical).
  • Generating reports and analyzing account metrics and productivity standards.
  • Overseeing processes to maintain precise inventory records.
  • Conducting inventory and data analysis.
  • Implementing procedures to manage inventory shelf life and expiration.
  • Documenting all interactions and transactions related to inventory inquiries.
  • Monitoring service levels and inventory discrepancies.
  • Reconciling inventory accounts and investigating discrepancies.
  • Preparing records for inventory shortages and shipments.
  • Disposing of damaged, defective, or obsolete products following regulatory and quality standards.
  • Supporting quality initiatives across the organization.
  • Organizing items in the warehouse for easy access according to established protocols.
  • Assisting with additional duties and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle/JDE is preferred.
  • A degree or relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or Finance is advantageous.
  • At least one year of experience in an inventory-specific role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with budget management is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in data entry systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with diverse clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment requiring collaboration.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Physical Demands:

  • Moderate to heavy physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods.
  • Capability to bend and stand for long durations in a warehouse setting.
  • Able to navigate throughout the warehouse facility.
