Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in assisting the sales team by managing all inventory-related activities for designated medical device accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Field Locations, Warehouse Operations, Sales Leaders, and other stakeholders in designated areas.
- Utilize inventory management systems for product/service distribution to sales personnel and clients.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory counts (both digital and physical).
- Generate reports and analyze account metrics and productivity benchmarks.
- Oversee processes to maintain precise inventory records.
- Conduct inventory and data analysis.
- Implement procedures for managing inventory shelf life and expiration.
- Document all interactions and transactions related to inventory inquiries.
- Monitor service levels and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies, making necessary adjustments.
- Prepare documentation for inventory shortages and shipments.
- Dispose of damaged, defective, or obsolete products following regulatory and quality protocols.
- Support quality initiatives across the organization.
- Organize items in the warehouse for easy access and orderliness.
- Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle/JDE is preferred.
- A degree or relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or Finance is advantageous.
- One or more years in an inventory-specific role is beneficial.
- Familiarity with budget management is a plus.
- Experience with data entry systems is preferred.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment requiring collaboration.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Physical Demands:
- Moderate to heavy physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods.
- Capability to stand and bend for prolonged durations in a warehouse setting.
- Able to navigate throughout the warehouse facility.
