About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Director Assistant to join our team at Azura Memory Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative and Operations Management
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and company standards.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of the facility, including staff management and resident care.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, including staff schedules, resident information, and facility maintenance.
    • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and safe environment, adhering to all state and company regulations.
  • Program and Service Implementation
    • Develop and implement person-centered care programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents, including the MOSAIC quality of life program.
    • Work closely with the regional nurse and Director of Nursing to ensure resident medical needs are met and best practices are followed.
    • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident.
    • Ensure a daily activity program is in place to meet the individual needs of each resident.
  • Assessment and Care Planning
    • Conduct thorough assessments of potential residents to ensure they meet our admission criteria.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, in collaboration with the care team.
    • Monitor the health and emotional conditions of each resident, and make recommendations for changes to their care plan as needed.
  • Family Support
    • Provide support and guidance to families of residents, including education on the frailties of aging and dementia.
    • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement strategies to support families and promote resident well-being.
  • Personnel Management
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in care and customer service.
    • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of staff evaluations and performance reviews.
Requirements
  • Education
    • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or social work.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare or senior living setting.
    • Demonstrated experience in program development and implementation, staff management, and resident care.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
