Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Harmony United Psychiatric Care. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, checking them in and out, and directing them to the appropriate departments or waiting areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Services: Greet patients, check them in and out, and direct them to the appropriate departments or waiting areas.
  • Communication: Accept and make phone calls to patients, ensuring effective communication and timely responses.
  • Office Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms, coordinating maintenance and repair of office equipment as needed.
  • Information Dissemination: Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
