Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Wholesale Business Development Intern to join our team at Barrière. As a Wholesale Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our wholesale business growth by developing databases, conducting outreach, and providing on-the-ground merchandising support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Development
    • Build and maintain databases for various business categories, including retail chains and independent stores.
  • Outreach and Engagement
    • Develop and implement strategies to engage with business owners and decision-makers, including research and data analysis.
    • Conduct regular outreach and follow-up activities to build relationships and drive business growth.
  • On-the-Ground Merchandising Support
    • Manage freelance workers to ensure our products are properly displayed and staff are knowledgeable.
    • Develop strategies for efficient store visits and provide detailed information about our brand, products, and display requirements.
    • Gather and analyze feedback from stores on product placement, stock levels, and merchandising improvements.
  • Requirements
    • Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Proficiency in research and database management.
    • Enthusiasm for the retail and wholesale industry.
