As a key leader, you will provide guidance and direction regarding club merchandising, ensuring that products are adequately stocked for sale throughout the store, while delivering an exceptional service experience to members. You will oversee and direct the efforts of the merchandise department team members and act as a key holder for the club.

The Night Operations Supervisor will serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) as designated. In this capacity, the Night Operations Supervisor is accountable for managing the entire Club, including all departments, addressing any concerns raised to the MOD, and escalating issues as necessary.

Leadership Responsibilities:

Understand the business landscape and demonstrate strategic thinking and sound decision-making through effective use of business data. Lead through transitions. Exhibit leadership qualities, build trust, and advocate for business growth. Communicate effectively. Ensure teams have the information they need to succeed. Foster high-performing teams by cultivating a collaborative culture. Provide timely and constructive feedback that drives business outcomes and enhances team member engagement. Achieve results. Meet business expectations within designated timeframes by establishing clear objectives and maintaining accountability.

Team Member Development:

Educate, mentor, and guide through the club-level training process. Promote team member engagement across all responsibilities to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Cultivate a culture of growth, strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and engagement. Prioritize team member and member needs to address and escalate concerns appropriately. Ensure a safe and positive environment for all team members. Embrace diversity and inclusion by collaborating with respect. Recognize team member achievements and work collectively to reach goals, identifying and retaining top talent.

Member Engagement:

Ensure service excellence at every interaction. Establish service standards for all team members, empowering them to resolve member concerns effectively. Maintain a safe and positive environment for members. Commit daily to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA) Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean

Club Standards: Guide teams to uphold GOLD club standards consistently.

Define and exemplify the GOLD standard - a grand opening appearance daily. Ensure all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, and maintain visible, accurate signage. Keep the environment clean and organized, both inside and out.

In accordance with Pay Transparency regulations, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully evaluate a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position starts at $51,500.00.
