Position: Change Manager

Location: Taylor, TX

Work Model: Hybrid/Remote

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in Release Management is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and organize effective release planning sessions.
  • Oversee release timelines and key infrastructure projects across various applications.
  • Plan, manage, and execute release cycles, ensuring tracking of deliverables, functional/security test approvals, and leading deployment efforts for both non-production and production environments.
  • Develop and maintain release plans for multiple applications.
  • Review release plans and change requests within release pipelines.
  • Coordinate release builds to designated environments (Testing, Production, etc.).
  • Conduct data analysis using SQL to generate release metrics and scorecards.
  • Assist in establishing a consistent and reliable release schedule.
  • Standardize the release process across IT applications by collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies for different releases and maintain documentation.
  • Work alongside release leads/managers to create a comprehensive plan and ensure excellence in delivery across the application portfolio.
  • Be flexible to work outside of standard business hours as necessary to support release deployments.
  • Provide assistance to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) as required.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or six years of relevant experience is required.
  • ITIL V4 certification is preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Change and Release Management.
  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in system integration processes beyond the degree requirements.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Best Practices in IT Service Management (Change/Release/Incident/Problem Management).
  • Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Service Now.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL, VB Scripting, and Data Analysis is a plus.
