Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Security Scheduling Specialist to assist in managing access control permissions for a leading Fortune 100 organization, ensuring the safety and security of facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the badging access system through the provisioning, updating, and deactivation of access permissions. The specialist will also support employees with any badging inquiries and monitor shared access systems to guarantee timely and precise services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and respond to requests in systems and shared mailboxes with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate entry and updates to access control systems based on approved requests.
  • Provide data and metrics related to operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and oversee the upkeep of production equipment.
  • Manage the production and quality assurance of access badges and ID badges.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Oversee access request system approvals, updates, and deactivations.
  • Facilitate clear communication of information to internal teams regarding access management.
  • Exemplify exceptional customer service during office hours.
  • Collaborate with company security and internal department leaders as necessary.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient writing and listening skills for effective documentation and communication.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential matters.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Regularly required to use both hands; frequently required to stand, sit, and communicate verbally.
  • Must be able to read computer screens and various documents in English.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds may be required.
  • Job performed primarily in an office environment, with potential exposure to outdoor conditions during site visits.
  • Ability to concentrate on details and work under deadline pressures.
  • Must effectively manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Clear proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is essential.
