Job Overview

Summary:
The primary role of the Recovery Support Specialist is to assist the team in managing and executing the daily schedule while coordinating and facilitating client needs. This position involves providing direct care to clients, which includes safely transporting residents to various events and appointments. The specialist will collaborate with other departments regarding client care, ensuring clients are informed about individual and group sessions, and actively communicating with relevant departments about client status and behaviors. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the admission and intake processes, along with other aspects of the client's journey at Crestone Wellness. Direct involvement in monitoring and mentoring clients is essential. Familiarity with all Crestone Wellness staff members, programs, and facilities is expected.

Working Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Work Days: Wednesday - Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and adhere to all Crestone Wellness Policies and Procedures.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and staff, relaying essential client information, including observations, to the appropriate clinical personnel.
  • Oversee daily client operations while consistently acting in a manner that is sensitive to their needs and best interests.
  • Support staff in enforcing and holding clients accountable for the rules and guidelines outlined in the Resident Handbook.
  • Ensure timely participation of residents in group sessions, individual therapy, outside appointments, and other scheduled events.
  • Provide comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation of all services delivered to clients.
  • Establish therapeutic rapport with clients while maintaining healthy professional boundaries.
  • Assist clients with transportation needs as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively and set limits with a diverse clientele.
  • Ensure the safety of clients and the security of the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the property and facilities.
  • Participate in the intake and discharge processes of clients.
  • Safeguard client confidentiality in accordance with company policy.
