Job Overview

POSITION TITLE: Facilities Assistant

LOCATION: Taylor, TX

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for managing shipping and receiving operations.
  • Organizes and schedules transportation for deliveries and collections with logistics providers.
  • Documents and maintains essential information to accurately monitor and trace shipments.
  • May assist in loading or unloading freight and supplies at the company’s receiving area.
  • Evaluates incoming and outgoing shipments for correct shipping paperwork and checks for any damages.
  • Ensures adequate inventory of shipping materials and forms is maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Capable of lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Possesses foundational skills in analytical, technical, or operational processes. Learns and adheres to standard company policies and procedures for routine tasks.
  • Handles assignments that are primarily routine. Seeks guidance from supervisors for complex issues.
  • Operates within clearly defined procedures and receives detailed instructions on tasks. Works under close supervision.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Details regarding the work schedule will be provided during the hiring process.

PAY RATE:

$25 per hour
