Position Summary

We are seeking a Security Scheduling Specialist to support and maintain access control permissions for a major corporation, ensuring the safety and security of facilities. This role is crucial in sustaining the integrity of the badging access system by managing the provisioning, updating, and deactivation of access permissions. The specialist will assist employees with any badging inquiries and monitor shared access systems to guarantee timely and precise services. The position is responsible for generating and managing over 100 company access badges weekly and reviewing access permissions for a workforce exceeding 70,000 employees, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct timely reviews of systems and shared mailboxes with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate entry and updates to access control systems based on approved requests.
  • Provide data and metrics to assess operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and oversee the upkeep of production equipment.
  • Ensure the production and quality assurance of access and ID badges.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Manage the approval process for access requests, including updates and deactivations.
  • Facilitate clear communication of information flow related to access management.
  • Exemplify outstanding customer service during office hours.
  • Coordinate with security personnel and internal department leaders as necessary.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient writing and listening skills for effective documentation and communication.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential matters.
Work Environment

This role typically operates in an office setting, with occasional site visits that may expose the employee to varying weather conditions.
