Position Overview:
Senior Electrical Engineer, PE

To be considered for our AEC Practice, candidates must possess a strong enthusiasm for engaging in intricate facilities design projects alongside in-house multidisciplinary architecture & engineering teams.

Our projects primarily focus on the Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Life Science manufacturing sectors.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE, you will be part of a team that challenges you and positions you for growth.

You will engage with our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice, partnering with experienced leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients consistently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled Licensed Electrical Engineer who excels in designing comprehensive electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for large, complex manufacturing facilities while also valuing strong mentorship and leadership.

You'll be part of a firm that carefully assesses each project before engagement, ensuring we have the appropriate capacity, skill sets, and licenses.

Our environment is designed to support new engineers through robust mentorship, avoiding the pitfalls of being thrown into challenging situations without guidance.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience in power distribution, load flow analysis, low voltage (medium voltage experience is a plus), and lighting design.

Qualifications:

Professional Engineering License (PE): A testament to your expertise and commitment.

12+ Years of Relevant Experience: Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly within the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods sectors.


NEC Proficiency:
A strong understanding of the NEC, ensuring compliance in all designs.

Power Distribution Expertise:
Proficient in low and medium voltage systems.

Load Flow Analysis Experience:
Demonstrated ability in optimizing electrical systems.

Lighting Design Knowledge:
Proficiency in industrial lighting solutions.

Multi-Discipline Design Exposure:
Experience in integrated facilities design.

Software Skills:
Proficient in leading software such as Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD.

Exceptional Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Willingness to Travel:
For installations, meetings, training, and industry events.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
