KFI Engineers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful execution of projects, providing technical and engineering excellence, as well as successful delivery of work to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Assists with the design of power distribution systems, size motor feeders and starters, and supports the design of building power and lighting systems. Prepares engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work and to ensure application of Electrical Engineering Principles. Coordinates work with other departments and project team members as well as contractors.
Requirements:
A Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineering registration in Ohio, or the ability to obtain Ohio registration via comity are required. Ten plus years of electrical engineering experience is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required to enable effective interaction with Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
Additional Qualifications:
Professional Engineering (PE) registration in Ohio, or ability to obtain. Healthcare design experience is a plus. Familiarity with FGI guidelines and NFPA 99. Strong attention to detail. Adaptable and agile, responsive to quick changes in direction. Ability to establish rapport and credibility with customers and other stakeholders.
