Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

KFI Engineers, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Medical & Clean Manufacturing department, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of projects.

Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and engineering excellence, as well as successful delivery of work to our customers. This individual will assist with the design of power distribution systems, size motor feeders and starters, and support the design of building power and lighting systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design of power distribution systems, including primary and secondary systems.
  • Size motor feeders and starters to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Support the design of building power and lighting systems, including special systems such as ground fault, lightning protection, emergency generator, and UPS.
  • Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work and ensure application of Electrical Engineering Principles.
  • Coordinate work with other departments and project team members as well as contractors.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration in Ohio, or ability to obtain.
  • Healthcare design experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FGI guidelines and NFPA 99.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to establish rapport and credibility with customers and other stakeholders.
