Senior Payroll Coordinator

Estimated Salary:$62,500 per annum, reflecting the organization's commitment to fair compensation.

This position requires an individual who can effectively manage all payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in every aspect. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with employees to notify them of timecard deadlines, guaranteeing timely submissions and avoiding delays.
  2. Reconcile approved hours in Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  3. Process edits, payroll adjustments, and corrections, maintaining the integrity of the payroll process and minimizing errors.
  4. Enter bonuses, retro pay, and shift differential pay into ADP, streamlining the payroll process and enhancing efficiency.
  5. Review the pre-process register for payroll data accuracy, upholding high standards of quality control and minimizing errors.
  6. Receive and open the payroll package, verifying its contents and initiating the necessary steps to ensure timely payment.
  7. Mailing payroll checks, fulfilling the organization's commitment to timely payment and demonstrating respect for employees' hard work.
  8. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues promptly.
  9. Generate reports from ADP report writer, gaining valuable insights to inform future decision-making and drive improvement.
  10. Identify opportunities for process improvement, driving innovation and efficiency within the payroll function.
  11. Participate in supervision and staff meetings, fostering effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Requirements:
  1. A.S. in Business and 3 years experience in ADP Workforce Now and ADP Enhanced Time and Attendance, demonstrating a strong foundation in payroll management and technical skills.
  2. Excellent Excel spreadsheet and computer skills, enabling efficient data manipulation and analysis, and streamlining the payroll process.
  3. Effective communication with internal staff and outside constituencies, showcasing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and promoting a positive work environment.
  4. Well-organized and willing to learn and take initiative, embracing challenges and opportunities for growth, and driving continuous improvement.
  5. Precise attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of payroll processing, and minimizing errors.
  6. High energy level and excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration and teamwork, and promoting a positive work environment.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying complex information clearly and concisely, and resolving issues promptly.
  8. Good customer service skills, providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders alike, and promoting a positive work environment.
