POSITION: EHS Manager

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Onsite

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our organization's safety programs and policy formulation. This pivotal position is responsible for fostering a culture of safety throughout our operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Industrial Standards.

The EHS Manager will develop and enforce safety protocols while playing an integral role in our strategic business planning, particularly in areas related to environmental, health, and safety issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, preparing necessary reports to uphold legal standards.
  • Deliver comprehensive Safety Training programs to promote a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Design and manage health and safety initiatives that safeguard employees, contractors, and clients.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Engage in corporate strategies aimed at reducing accidents and minimizing potential liabilities.
  • Compile and share safety performance metrics, including incident rates and proactive indicators.
  • Perform plant audits to identify risks, oversee safety training, and assess personal exposure levels.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects, showcasing strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Conduct facility audits to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks, ensuring the implementation of preventative measures.
  • Maintain State Drug-Free Certification and facilitate employee training on sustaining a drug-free workplace.
  • Lead investigations into near misses and prepare for investigative processes.
  • Chair the Employee Safety Committee to enhance safety awareness among staff members.
  • Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Project Management tools.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Self-driven, accountable, and committed to continuous personal and professional development.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving exceptional results.
