Job Title: Physician - GRHA

Position Overview:

  • Deliver comprehensive healthcare services by assessing patients, diagnosing ailments, and administering treatments.
  • Supervise nursing staff, aides, and other personnel in patient care and treatment.
  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as required.
  • Provide guidance to patients on health management, including wellness, disease prevention, and injury avoidance.
  • Collaborate with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation specialists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of nurses, trainees, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical personnel.
  • Conduct patient examinations, gather medical histories, order diagnostic tests, and consult with fellow medical professionals to assess patients' physical and mental well-being.
  • Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical interventions to manage or prevent health issues.
  • Provide urgent medical assistance as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

A medical degree recognized by the Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB) and licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice medicine at a state institution or within the state of Georgia, as mandated by state regulations. The physician must be Board Eligible.
