About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Associate to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and transparency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits and prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
  • Prepare and maintain workpapers for assigned sections.
  • Perform testing and gather evidence to support audit conclusions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal employees to complete audit sections.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with external auditors.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to auditor requests and coordinate necessary responses.
  • Assist with departmental processes and projects, including compiling and reviewing information.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required.
  • Implement actions as directed by department leadership to improve internal audit processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and control principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software systems.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
