About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our design projects in the Federal Solutions Building & Infrastructure group. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and scope alignment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients from project inception to completion.
  • Develop project proposals, including fee and scope definition, in collaboration with discipline directors and design leads.
  • Facilitate communication plans, ensuring key stakeholders are informed, and conduct regular status review meetings with project team members and clients.
  • Determine, monitor, and manage financial project metrics, schedules, and staffing requirements for each project.
  • Guide the overall development and quality of project documents, adhering to Jacobs' Quality Program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Registration (PE) in New York.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing design and construction projects, with a focus on commercial and government projects.
  • Design expertise in new facilities and renovation/alteration projects.
  • Ability to drive in the NY Metro Area.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with in-house support disciplines.
  • Ability to write effective engineering proposals.
  • Good oral and writing communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in standard software such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat, Bluebeam, ProjWise, etc.
  • Ability to review and update project financials.
  • US Citizenship.
