Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and coordination of activities between teams and the customer to ensure successful execution of the Asset Forfeiture process.
  • Apprise the customer and FSA's Program Manager on operational status and plans, including providing all required reports on or ahead of schedule and consistent with requirements.
  • Design, develop, and continually improve management and operational policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assure the reliability, accuracy, and timeliness of all services and the achievement of acceptable quality levels.
  • Set goals and priorities in accordance with all contract task order requirements and Asset Forfeiture laws/regulations, and successfully manage work schedules to address variations in workload and drive delivery or ordered hours.
  • Utilize financial management skills and business acumen to make informed decisions, allocate resources strategically, and optimize cost-effectiveness related contract support services.
  • Communicate plans, strategies, and project updates clearly and effectively to executive-level and government stakeholders, fostering mission alignment to drive organizational success.
  • Oversee and approve all hiring within area of responsibility.
  • Manage personnel in accordance with contract, and company requirements, including providing guidance, leadership, and direction to subordinate supervisors, coaching and developing staff, managing vacation and other leave requests, reviewing and approving timesheets, administering employee evaluations, acting with appropriate speed to resolve employee concerns, and working with FSA's Human Capital Management (HCM) department to appropriately address conduct and performance issues.
  • Ensure the provision of effective training/training programs, and compliance with required training.
  • Approve employee travel and travel expenses.
  • Oversee subcontractors, maintain regular contact with subcontractor management, and ensure consistent delivery of services and quick resolution of issues.
  • Administer FSA's Awards program and appropriately motivate program personnel.
  • Manage and execute a departmental budget.
  • Provide input on FSA policies and programs and communicate any changes to subordinate employees and appropriate government managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Five years of supervisory experience, including prior experience supervising a large organization, with a preference for experience in an organization of ~100 employees.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a field related to law enforcement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the DEA and asset forfeiture process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with the government.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities to consistently deliver the highest quality of work under extreme pressure.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing and monitoring processes and procedures for adherence to law/regulation/policy and quality standards, coordinating associated operational and administrative actions, and monitoring and tracking quality levels.
  • Progressive experience with database management and automated office procedures.
  • Experience in collecting and demonstrating data sets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
