Job Title: Federal Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Federal Business Development Manager to join our team at Kore 1. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the Federal Government sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed assigned revenue objectives for the US Federal Government and Department of Defense.
  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the Federal Government.
  • Communicate the value and competitive advantages of our products and services to government entities.
  • Secure technical wins at the headquarters level and develop bidding strategies for each department and agency.
  • Direct sales engagement at all headquarters levels of all federal departments, agencies, and subagencies.
  • Map out federal government entities, identifying leadership, management, and technical contacts responsible for Physical Access Control and video management systems.
  • Establish a network within each department, agency, and sub-agency, while overcoming key relationship gaps.
  • Provide direction on business requirements, including bidder requirements, procurement vehicles, certifications, APLs, and ATOs needed to win the business.
  • Empower and lead regional sales representatives, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to successfully engage and sell to local federal entities, departments, and agencies.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in prospecting and selling to government entities.
  • Strong understanding of the Federal Government sector and its sales landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and meet revenue objectives.
  • Experience with sales enablement, success stories, references, contacts, and other sales assistance.
