Business Development Specialist

This role involves identifying and engaging with potential customers to drive sales growth for Dalkia Energy Solutions, LLC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships to increase revenue.

This position requires effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless sales process and exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Conduct market research to identify potential customers and develop targeted sales strategies.


Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.


Collaborate with sales management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns that drive revenue growth.


Work closely with operations teams to ensure that service delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual obligations.


Partner with the finance team to prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processes.


Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.


Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.


Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Dalkia Energy Solutions, LLC and establish connections with potential clients.


Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.


Current experience in sales, account management, or business development within the energy or facility management sectors.


Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.


Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.


Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on achieving results.


Proficiency in CRM software and Google suite.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.


Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
