Key Responsibilities
  • Perform waived and moderate complexity tests, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Lead and train phlebotomy students, ensuring they meet the required standards for competency.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff, nurses, and providers to ensure excellent patient care and efficient test processing.
  • Identify and resolve problems, utilizing appropriate resources and seeking assistance when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, including CAP surveys and NETS reports.
  • Inventory and order laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Perform customer service duties, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with phlebotomy training.
  • At least 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a leadership role.
