Subzero Wolfsc, a leading luxury appliance distributor, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to join our team. This key role will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary expertise and product knowledge to consumers, architects, and designers through comprehensive cooking demonstrations, use and care classes, and culinary-based promotions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct comprehensive cooking demonstrations, group and individual use and care classes, and interactive cooking lessons to showcase the depth and breadth of our products.
2. Develop innovative and exciting menus that emphasize product knowledge and promote Subzero Wolfsc products.
3. Manage inventory ordering, purchasing, and food cost controls to ensure efficient operations.
4. Organize culinary staff to execute events on and off-site, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
5. Provide input for the development of the operating budget for the culinary department.
6. Foster relationships with other chefs and industry professionals to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.
7. Present a professional image and represent Subzero Wolfsc in a positive and professional manner.
8. Establish and maintain high standards for food production and presentation.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
2. Exceptional presentation skills and public speaking experience.
3. Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen experience, depending on formal degree or training.
4. Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
5. Thorough knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment use and operation.
6. Outstanding management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
7. Strong knowledge of wine is beneficial but not essential.
