About the Role

La Mercerie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our menu, leading a team of chefs, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute menus that showcase our commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional food quality.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food safety.
  • Work closely with our management team to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful menus and leading high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Strong knowledge of French cuisine and cooking techniques, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
