POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager role is a full-time hourly position responsible for supporting the facility's Operations Managers in daily leadership tasks. This includes overseeing staffing and training of hourly employees, managing costs, ensuring service excellence, adhering to operational protocols, fostering guest relations, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring safety and security. The Operations Manager is expected to lead shifts alongside the operations managers, cultivating an atmosphere of ownership and accountability. Upholding the quality and ethical standards of our brand is paramount.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily operations: staffing, scheduling, labor management, maintenance, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and product quality.
  • Accountable for maximizing daily revenue while effectively managing costs, labor, and cash flow.
  • Ensure completion of opening, operational, and closing tasks for the department.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in all departmental areas.
  • Proactively engage in guest relations, including floor interactions and table visits.
  • Guarantee the highest quality and service standards.
  • Manage all aspects of guest relations and the overall experience delivered, including product quality, service timing, and entertainment value.
  • Empower staff to provide exceptional service.
  • Coordinate special events with the on-duty leader.
  • Provide management with honest feedback regarding staff performance.
  • Assist in staff training and employee relations.
  • Maintain high staff morale.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in guest service and leadership is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check are prerequisites for employment. The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Team Member to successfully perform essential job functions.   • 6 months or more of exposure to the Andretti brand and culture is advantageous.
  • Current trainer or team lead experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills; ability to motivate and manage staff at all levels.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and make sound decisions aligned with the position's responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Adherence to all safety protocols.
  • Open and flexible availability.
  • Willingness to work varied schedules, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
