Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a RF/EW Systems Engineer and Policy Specialist to provide critical support for a significant military initiative. This role is fully onsite in Washington, DC, focusing on the Exports office of a military program.

**Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered**

Key Responsibilities for the RF/EW Systems Engineer and Policy Specialist:

  • Deliver expert technical guidance on RF/EW and IR/EO systems and platforms.
  • Compose defense position documents and decision memoranda related to the export of pertinent systems and platforms.
  • Evaluate and authorize export license applications in accordance with DoD regulations.
  • Act as a representative for the program office at various government, DoD, and industry gatherings.
  • Support the Program/Deputy Program Manager with daily operations, including technology and system integration assistance.

Qualifications for the RF/EW Systems Engineer and Policy Specialist:

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Mid-career to senior-level proficiency in radar technology or export policy and controls is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic systems, including active electronically scanned arrays and components like power amplifiers.
  • Experience in providing technical assistance to DoD entities, inter-agency collaborations, and joint service committees.
  • Ability to organize and facilitate meetings, events, and working groups involving military services, industry, or government agencies.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities, with proficiency in compiling reports, preparing presentations, and delivering technical summaries and recommendations.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: A degree is not mandatory, but relevant experience in radio technology and systems is expected.

Compensation for the RF/EW Systems Engineer and Policy Specialist:

  • Salary: $160k-$215k (varies based on experience and position level)
